the personal blog of the "no longer in their 20s" owner of the above blog, where i:
• play and write about video games (usually old ones i guess but anything goes)
• go thrifting for cool electronics / things that deserve to be tinkered with and fixed
• ignore my unimportant job as much as i can
• melt my brain with the weed (mute "#weed log" to mute me posting while high if you want)
in that order

not really nsfw but no minors please and thank

cleaning my apartment while listening to some DnB and i realized i've never shown my hi-fi setup here before which i'm rather proud of having put together all from thrifted finds, there are obviously better players and decks out there but the vibe is immaculate when it's playing and the equalizer is in motion

the only things it's missing is a minidisc deck, some better speakers and maybe a better record player (i don't have room for better speakers and idrc about vinyl that much)

would also recommend grooverider's mysteries of funk btw, kickass DnB / jungle

in reply to @HerzogZwei's post:

the giant volume knobs on amps / receivers are always a treat to handle, just gotta be sensitive with them to not explode any speakers

i have a giant stack of them sitting in my office from years of finding them next to dumpsters or because they were sold as "broken" (they usually aren't) and i honestly need to test them all to see which ones to get rid of because i obviously do not need this many but did not want to see them get sent to the dump lol (the yamaha one on the top is the most interesting one because it has like internet connectivity and shit)
