i know that references to older shit is there for the adults but like. goddamn it's literally a 60 year old reference, even adults watching this show with their kids might miss the reference for it being too far back

they're also retroactively adding narwhal deep south characters from the spongebob prequel (kamp koral) into the main show? i guess?
