There's something really nice about being in the shower and just imagining yourself as your sona or your current form or whatnot, and just imagining how it feels like to have the water rushing down your fur or your vinyl or the like and how you'd react if your species has a strong affinity for water, and- hm? you're asking why i don't have ΘΔ in my username?

same hat re: the tags. I'm deffos not.... well. I'm not not human, but I'm not human. my body is human and im human creature but like. I am a derg. or a doe. or a. thing. I consider myself like. soft therian. i just say kinnie and try not to get into the weeds bc the spectrum of experience is to broad and vague for strict definitions
as a gecs and a quox, it is ok to have multiple shapes. imo
Multiple kintypes is absolutely a therian (or otherwise otherkin) experience. I think the words Cradle found when looking into it were polykin and kinfluid? Ultimately, Cradle realised "her" contradictory feelings were actually from plurality, but nonetheless our pooltoy is both a vaporeon and a buizel, and I've got something going on with sylveon and Ci Annwn.

I guess just the big thing for me is that I know I'm into transformation, so I kinda worry that what I might feel is a strong connection to a species is just my reaction to being freshly transformed - and there are some forms I know I had strong initial reactions with, but then faded over a bit of time....
...but, like. there are a few species that keep coming up and seem to endure that fading interest? It feels like the only way to truly differentiate between them all is time, though...
EDIT: continuing my thought since my brain finally came up with the part 2 to it, it kinda just makes it difficult to really be certain about myself. it's like, i end up asking myself, is it because it's truly me? or is it just because it's different and new?
Honestly, you seem to have a pretty good handle on things there? TF moods can definitely do that; Cradle in particular has been whacked with pooltoy moods by our pooltoy, but isn't actually a pooltoy most of the time.
One trick we've employed when we're not sure is just trying it both ways. If I act like this is true, how does it feel? I know the pooltoy posted a bit about that over the past week, although the details are a bit blurry, and I think it was oblique about it.

- Yeah, I’m sorta in a similar spot about putting a theta delta in my bio. Slapping an interrobang to the end seemed like an honest representation of “I’m not 100% sure I exactly fit the mold of what it means to be a therian, but that’s probably the closest label I’ve heard so far”
I cant believe you've made the biggest callout post to me specifically of all time! ...Kidding, of course. It is something I've been thinking about for a while though, in a way that this post mirrors a lot of my thoughts. Hope whatever introspection brought about this post is going well for you!

I wouldn't identify myself as therian, but it is fun to imagine myself as one of my OCs, doing my daily activities. It's a fun way to imagine things😄
