what i need right now is like, a first person fantasy rpg that doesn't have tile based movement that lets me be a girl and isn't an elder scrolls game. this is the itch i have

for commenters, there is an upcoming game in early access but i don't buy early access games until they either release or it is clear they will never be updated again. it's called dark delusion on steam. it looks rad as hell.
I love Arena, but that's because I played it when I was a kid. Literally spent an entire summer just fucking around. I had fun dicking around with it a bit recently, but it really is kinda just beta Daggerfall in a lot of ways.
i am starting to prefer it in some ways. i have only done the first two dungeons but i found them much less confusing than any daggerfall dungeon i've ever been in. the towns are much worse, however. unfortunately work time came around so i had to stop before i had my fill
