twitch keeps doing this thing where the audio and video are desynched on my end. the only way to fix is to refresh. which plays ads. i will have to refresh the page multiple times to not have this issue. i fucking hate this.

They do this to me on every browser save the one I have a plugin installed on to block their ads. For this, the video player breaks every 30 minutes and requires a refresh, but instead of an add I get a screen that says an ad is playing. Could be anti-adblock bs in their code.
oh which plugin/browser do you use to do that? i would prefer to see nothing rather than ads

ffz has a reset player option which might work, and i think they allow you to disable the audio catchup
