- Friday 4pm: FFIII
If you haven't heard already, the depression/health/etc has hit me fucking hard. Streams have been hella affected by it.
WoW's "Season of Discovery" had the biggest patch yet and there's been a millions of things to do there. WoW classic's endgame is much easier mechanics wise, than modern MMOs but much MUCH more difficult logistics wise. the amount of prep needed before stepping into Molten Core or Onyxia's Lair is staggering. Finishing attunements and acquiring consumes, world buffs, reagents, gear etc. After the prep, the difficulty becomes all about speedrunning. Clearing MC is easy as fuck. Clearing it as fast as your group possibly can is much more interesting. And there is an absurd amount of prep that goes into that as well.
I admit, I plan on finishing my attunes, grinding some rep so I am available to douse runes for my group and then coasting on MC gear til Blackwing Lair is released. While doing the occasional dungeon for laughs. The dungeons in vanilla are all so good.
This all has interrupted a few streaming plans. I have ongoing playthroughs of FFIII and Project RyME.
Ironically, I have streamed FFIII before, and about half way through depression hit and I took a much longer stream hiatus. Some stream footage was lost and I decided I would start all over this time.
Project RyME was unplanned ngl. It was on my radar as possibly a neat off stream game, but shelved it on my wishlist and forgot about it. I began looking for an artist for a pngtuber avatar. I kept seeing Qwarq's art, as well as the pngtubers they had done. That also warranted a closer look at their gamedev endeavors. I just worry I created another loose end project that will go unfinished. I have too many of those.
Other such projects include Temple of Elemental Evil by infamous developer, Troika games. It is a rancid jank pile and also my favorite CRPGs. I have a FFVIII playthrough on youtube that is an absolute mess with hours of uncut footage to upload. And a whole disk and a half worth of game left to boot.
I want to wrap up these loose ends and continue on.
Next month is both my birthday and my affiliate anniversary. So I will be celebrating both with a week of streams. Other planned projects include the ongoing "Edutainment Weekly" and I plan on at least looking at as many Lode Runner releases and ports as possible. Not to mention a growing list of streamable games that I intend to pick from as I go.
So despite the mental and physical health bullshit I am not going anywhere I just gotta get back in my stride.
