The bot will keep posting here for as long as it can.

I don’t know what happens after that.

We made something magical here and I don’t know if it’s possible to recapture that magic somewhere else. Even something as simple as being able to put the real solution for each drawing under a spoiler clickthrough is either cumbersome or impossible to replicate elsewhere, not to mention the incredible “yes and” posting culture that made this place so special.

Really, I see two possible futures:

  • I try to keep this thing running on other platforms, awkwardly squashing this square peg into the round hole of the other platforms’ various limitations. I’ve pre-emptively grabbed the handle elsewhere just in case.
  • I let this thing die a hero’s death, and it goes down along with cohost. In this scenario, I would at least preserve all of your wonderful custom drawings in some sort of gallery.

Thank you all so much for the love you’ve shown this silly little bot. Truly, you made this account what it is.

I just gave you a canvas — you made art.

❤️

Thank you for this wonderful page and tools! Seeing everyone's art was great and checking for new posts here has become a part of my day. A gallery with all the custom works sounds like a lovely idea!

Lmao yeaaaa I have been on here for the last 3 hours talking to mutuals and reposting things others may find helpful, shit man this sucks. Can absolutely see why it had to happen, but it sucks.

I genuinely believe NES Pictionary on Cohost will be talked about among other examples of net art throughout history such as Teletext. You gave us a tool, it had limitations, and it allowed us to create what will soon become the most recently lost example of net art. You've made history, Luna, I'd like to think, and I'm glad I was here. Thank you so much.
