welcome to my favourite feature of gridania: this little wooden ramp outside the leatherworkers' guild
- built over an obvious desire path location, where people were probably taking the (somewhat dangerous) shortcut over the ledge rather than wanting to walk all the way around
- probably also works as a good safety measure for people approaching from the east and not noticing the drop
- built over the ledge instead of flattening it out, so as to affect the actual lay of the land as little as possible (very gridanian)
i'm definitely overthinking it. but i just think its neat and fits the area really well. just a little fun design detail
