shoutout to fighting game discords for allowing you to pretty explicitly say "i want someone to (pay attention to|interact with) me right now" and then letting other people elect to [not] do that with zero judgment on either side.
socially-encouraged and yet (safe|careful|comfortable) interaction, doesn't feel like you get a lot of those, especially with strangers
