Is this dolphin's mouth closed or open?
I say it's closed, it's just a shitty perspective'd dolphin. But, my friends think otherwise.

If its mouth were open, the colour would be different.
Dolphin mouths don't get more pink at the front, they're whiter around the teeth and get more pink in and toward the back of the mouth. Dolphins also have teeth and a tongue. I don't see either here (even if this is art or AI or whatever).
Finally, the highlight on the mouth bump, below the black line that is supposed to be its closed mouth, is a bright highlight circle that fades outward - this lighting shape suggests the surface is convex to us. There wouldn't be a highlight there if it were concave/inward/open.
it's from the zoo tycoon title screen, which has another dolphin with a definitely open mouth (and no teeth)
i agree the highlight under the black line does give the impression of it being closed, but the open-mouthed dolphin also has it, so i don't think that's what it is
