Davinci Resolve and it's Goofy Aahhh delete shortcut doing a whole ass ripple delete instead of a regular delete. Nah, by default, you need to press BACKSPACE. I've never heard of such a thing, and combined with cutting various clips around it kind of threw me off guard.
For those that don't know, the ripple delete feature basically deletes any remaining empty space by putting what's ahead of it right up against what's before it.
