My hottest Star Wars prequel take is you can be mad about "younglings" or you can be mad about Owen saying "girlfriend," but to be mad about both is inherently contradictory.
(Also there's a right answer to which one you should be mad at if you're mad at either. Hint, the "galactic basic is represented by vernacular English" convention has been a consistent, established part of the franchise from day one...)
