How I want Star Wars to play with the light side/dark side dichotomy: What if "The light side" as the Jedi teach it isn't a naturally occurring characteristic of the force that exists as an entity in its own right but rather is just a culturally constructed doctrine which is useful as a way to keep people with superpowers from going totally off the rails, or at least to ensure they only do so in ways that are productive in the eyes of the political power structure in which the Jedi order holds a privileged position, and this particular doctrine is by no means the exclusive path to ethical use of the power the force grants...

How Star Wars actually ever plays with the light side/dark side dichotomy: What if just being good is actually bad and it's actually more good to be a little bit good and ALSO a little bit evil?
