and that's without the new high-speed ADC I should be able to get built next week (which should be able to take it down to 90 seconds or so) and without 3-line scanning, which in theory might get it as fast as 30 seconds but I actually don't know if the advance motor can keep up at that speed
first time I've scanned a medium-format photo on the Coolscan that I previously spent a lot of time editing a different scan of and I'm just blown away. there's so much fine detail in here my Epson flatbed scanner missed despite producing a comparable pixel size on the output.
