Slide by Goo Goo Dolls is not a good song but it’s a fun to sing the “yeeeeaaaaahhh gonna let it sli-I-ide” part. Its also bonkers that they put that part up front. Instead of putting that toward the end of the song as part of the build to resolution they blew their wad 45 seconds in. I would deny them Rock and Roll Hall of Fame status for this reason alone
