it was really good!! I like it when people do interesting things with 3D animation! I loved all of the scribbly 2D composited effects and the oblong character models. sometimes the light catches the polygons on those turtles and they almost look like clay models where you can see someone’s finger marks. That’s cartoons baby

I'm dying waiting for the Blu-ray. When it came to digital it took me like three hours to watch it again because I kept pausing to just stare at it.
Oh totally, there were a couple times I lost track of what was actually occurring and had to rewind because I was too busy looking at all of the details
i try not to be a mark for brands and franchises these days, but i was a huge ninja turtles kid growing up and seeing it treated with this much love and as a vehicle for as much creativity as it's had the last few years has made my heart absolutely swell.
