Not only are baggy clothes back in style but so is adults hand-wringing over it (went to a faculty meeting about student dress code and It Sucked)
Did you know the LAUSD school board passed a resolution that school dress code may be enforced but may not suppress cultural or religious identity and yet also included the phrase “urban styles”? In the year 2020????
One of my most Old Man opinions lately has been getting made at students wearing pyjama pants to school. I get it, you were home and got used to online learning and comfy is important. I put on my soft pants as soon as I get home most days!
But come on, wear pants. I truly think there's a key part of wearing something for school that puts you in the mindset that you're at a place to learn, not to just chill.
