As of late, I have more and more starting to lose interest in cars and motorsport, which I find kind of sad but understandable at the same time. These days to me a car is not something to strive for to buy, I am currently looking for a living option much closer to work because I'd rather spend that extra money than buying and owning a car. I just can't justify having a car anymore due to the environmental impact and what the car industry has evolved into. I also don't see the point of owning a car when living in a "bigger" Swedish city because I can take the bike anywhere I want to go.

With motorsport I'm just so fed up with how double sided it is, I understand it has always been like this but to me it seems to be even more money focused and more money needed in general. Rallying is the only thing I still follow these days and even that has dwindled a bit.

I also have been losing interest in cars fast as well, especially with realizing the pressure of owning, driving, and maintaining the car - in a city. As much as I love wandering off privately my travels have been so far almost perfectly covered by buses and trains, and I would rather deal with drunken people sitting next to me on subway than driving through the rush hour. And then there's the current car market which is now more of a tech show that focuses on creating a basically private taxi or bus.

I might still get to drive to be a chauffeur for my parents when needed etc, but not only that I no longer feel any need for car ownership, I also am feeling more and more glad to be able to walk for hours and enjoy the moments instead of driving around just for the point a to b. Even when I do need car for certain travels I don't think getting a latest or the so-called 'dream car' would be a lot more satisfying than driving a fwd 2014 diesel Santa fe (which is clearly showing its age, but it runs fine at least).

For motorsports I don't have much to say since I haven't followed one other than video games, but the excitement levels seems to be gradually going down. Maybe it's because of the realization of things like control and impact... but I don't have much to say as I don't know how things are actually going around.
