you gotta accept that those poorly formed ideas in your head that you get excited about—the characters, the stories, the scenes—are actually super rad. you're not excited for no reason, you had a cool idea. doesn't really matter if it's been done before or if someone might do it better. follow that rad idea.
I still suck at the part of following the idea,
especially as I would excuse myself over 'having busy days' just with college, other works (including hobbies), or hell even video games to end up forgetting what ideas got me excited
I'm having that moment again and I really hope I actually get to follow one this time, with the new college semester starting less than a month & now having to get busy with what classes to take
