IcedCocoa
@IcedCocoa

For this July-August, I paid for commissions to develop my OC/Sona.

made with @nex3's grid generator
And in the meantime, I also drew some artwork in a fanart way. During these works I rambled to myself about how I have considered (and am considering) drawings and the meaning of art in my life.

  1. Here's my Sona, both for this ID and my alt in Bluesky. Pretty happy with the results of 'somewhat toony' white tiger vibes, and I'm hoping to post my own drawings by the end of this year... by the very least.

  2. I'm on Bluesky! https://bsky.app/profile/torinori305.bsky.social
    I originally started Bluesky to only post the drawings, hence the completely different ID, but I ended up becoming very active there. So far I have been mostly posting photos of Seoul streets, but I'm planning to more occasionally drop my drawings.

in reply to @IcedCocoa's post:

tbh looking at your drawings, its just minor things thats off with the perspective, the shapes looks good and I think you manage to portray the "flowyness" of newer cars. But from experience I find cars hard to draw regarding objects (I can't draw living stuff for shit haha)

But in the end, its best to treat creative stuff as a hobby, then you will have a lot less pressure on your shoulders

Thank you! :eggbug-relieved::eggbug-smile-hearts: Recollecting the thoughts, I feel that I crashed and berated myself by viewing drawings and designs as my solid career and living etc, when I could just take them as a hobby and something to do when I feel like it.

I haven't touched on drawing cars without reference since high school, but after rediscovering the tutorials I saved up, I might get on it along with the character (fan)arts.
