i love anti-piracy stuff like this
just really weak ass attempts to make you feel bad about pirating
(It also makes you a lame douchebag who should be shunned by society.)
This was especially funny to me because the blu-ray in question is the only disc I've ever purchased that lacks any copy protection whatsoever.
So this is the Piracy warning video for the VHS by Daewon Media (and funded by gov) during 1991 to 1994.
The main points are that 'Long time ago the worst catastrophes for kids were tigers, smallpox, and war - now modern kids get to become juveniles due to watching faulty and illegal videos', '(we) should choose and use the videos properly so ((lacking subject) can) develop clean and bright morals', and finally 'One video is enough to change one's future.'
It's such a remarkable anti-piracy campaign, despite never getting to experience this until finding this out on YT. I love the old-style animation with usage of 'old modern' Korean vocabs, broken grammar of lacking subjects and sentence structure mismatch, showing historical figures without mentioning why, and the final sequences of being in nature and flying kite at a cliff after watching "appropriate videos". It's a beautiful mess.
