I’ve been trying to incorporate big spotlights highlighting the critical path into all my outfits but people still insist on stacking crates to jump out of a window at every opportunity! Why!
Have you considered using ladder rungs to guide the viewer's eyes upward?
Pointing lights at important areas always does the trick for me.
