Uhh how does these discord competitions works?
Well, it's a discord consisting mostly of musicians and such. Once a month, a moderator will give a theme, could be summer jam, or video game rearrangement/remix. You have until the end of the month to write something, and they gather all of them and put them on soundcloud. People vote for their favorite, and the winner usually gets a custom discord title for a month, and they share their socials/music in a "trophy room".
Oh, that sounds neat! If you don't mind, could you please point me to this discord? I'm trying to get my feet wet at making music on FL Studio, but I think I may find the composing process a bit too frustrating to stick to it long term, but who knows, at least I wanna give it a try
I feel like I'm going to be short a week's worth of groceries, so anywhere from 50-80 should cover me. I can probably cover it with a credit card, possibly. I'm fine at the moment, but I'm not usually this low on money at this time of the month (I only get the money I get at the beginning of the month).
