They're doing a new Warioware this year, but it does seem like they abandoned the main series.
And Wario Land: Shake It! was so good! Such a crime that we never got a follow-up to that.
I'm not sure why exactly they did this, unless they decided to expand Mario's speaking roles in future games and Martinet's delivery wasn't the right fit. But that feels like a stretch. It also seems like a reach that Martinet would elect to stop filling the role. Both are possible, I suppose, for various reasons. Whatever it is, I don't expect answers from anyone inside of the deal.
whatever, as long as it's not a jarring of a change as getting used to wario's voice in Mario Kart 64 and then playing as Wario in Mario Party-wow, they didnt even try to make it sound like Wario
