For those out of the loop, Mashle is a manga (and anime) parody of your typical shonen and Harry Potter. In a world where magic is everything, the main character can't use any. But he's, like, really strong. And he enrolls at not-Hogwarts.

Being honest, Mashle only shines when it comes to the gags in battles where Mash is involved and the ocasional extremely detailed double-page drawing that makes your jaw drop.
Characters have a single personality trait that gets repeated over and over for jokes that get repetitive the third time around, and "normal" fights, though not bad, most of them end up feeling formulaic and stretched out.

But good lord does it get good when Mashle is in the action. The guy has infinite strength and infinite imagination. Sure, you know he's going to survive the hyper-mega-death light beam travelling at the speed of light towards him, but you don't know how. Is he going to take his white shirt off, fold it 32 times and deflect the beam with it because white stuff bounces light? Is he going to run around the world while outrunning the beam and make it hit the aggressor? Is he just going to punch it? Who knows. And honestly, those moments made the whole thing worth reading, so give it a try. (if you're into stupid humor, that is)
