🚋Chill model making videos & railroad history.🚊

✨I'm one of the few people on planet Earth whose day job is building model railroads for a living! It's very fun. ✨

On the left is an absolutely incredible model of the Pennsylvania's electric passenger locomotive class "DD1" which was an unusual 4-4-0+0-4-4 or 2+B+B+2 arrangement.

The right has what has to be the most evocative photo taken of an electric locomotive, it being built, with its two IMMENSE traction motors hooked up to a jackshaft arrangement that drives 2 axles each. There's such a visually arresting aura of this imagine I haven't been able to shake since I first saw it as a teen. You could create a whole sci-fi world inspired by this image alone.

Another fictional game screenshot I made for an early predecessor to MSTS Train Simulator in which you're controlling a Pennsylvania Railroad MP54 EMU set heading into New York city, sometime in the 1940's.

The Cab control signals read all clear into town (upper left 3 indicators) and controls and porthole view match the real trains.
