While working on an entirely different graphic design project, I got inspired to design this quartet of 35mm film boxes, all from different eras. It made for an incredibly fun design warm-up exercise.
The website "Packola" has a ridiculously robust in-browser rendering program, which I used to completely create and render these boxes, made from custom dimensions of my own design (closely based dimensionally from a common 35mm film box).
I then gave myself different prompts:
The upper left "Verdimax" is an expensive '80's era Italian film
The upper right is a 1960's Italian film, "Futuro Film".
The lower left, "Mainline" is a hypothetical 1940's American film stock for railroad action photography.
The lower right "Chromatic" is a lovely late 70s/early 80's American film stock.
It was a blast coming up with different brand names/product names and I'm very pleased you can model the boxes open/closed as well.
