This year I:

  • Pissed off a bunch of jerks who suck by having integrity and not making their approval the center of my world.
  • Went through the whole long process of getting approved and scheduled for GRS, which involved working really hard to get my physical health into the best place its been since 2017. And now it's scheduled for February!!
  • Did lots of fun adventures with @Jay who I had started dating near the end of 2021 but we only really got to revel in it in 2022
  • Decided to move to a different city then decided to stay in my current city after all with a new appreciation for the life I have here.
  • Made a difficult and major change at work that vastly improved my work/life balance and health and sanity and everything. Also achieved some cool stuff at work but I'm not doxxing myself sorry
  • Did some good labor organizing with my union that actually had major victories!!!!
  • Got back into legit going to shul regularly again; though I'm taking a winter hibernation cuz COVID numbers.
  • Got back into meeting new local people and community groups again and have been making my first new local friends since the pandemic.
  • Came out as Autistic at work and have been working on unmasking more. Which has been rocky but worthwhile.
  • Read a ton of good books! Like a lot of them! But I haven't been tracking it so ¯\(ツ)
  • Continued learning ASL and started learning Mandarin
  • Quit Twitter and started this blog! Where I've been much more proud of my writing output here.
  • Started @PropagandaRock

In 2023 I will:

  • Give a Dvar at shul
  • Get GRS
  • Recover from GRS
  • Do a lot of uhhhhh learning about how post-GRS life works (sure let's put it that way)
  • Continue learning ASL and Mandarin
  • Do some cool stuff at work I'm not doxxing myself over but it's very cool and I'm proud of it
  • Do more work around trying to unmask and stop holding myself to NT standards. Possibly try and get updated documentation for getting workplace accommodations.
  • Read more good books!
  • Binge watch a lot of crap because GRS recovery.
  • COVID numbers willing, try to re-enter more offline community spaces I haven't been to since before the pandemic.
  • Hopefully spend lots of time with friends and loved ones despite how much of my time will go to surgery recovery and dilation and stuff
  • Do more writing, more @PropagandaRock, and so forth.

It'll overall be a pretty uneventful year outside of being completely consumed by one very very very big thing.

Since there's no DMs I just want to say it's, I guess refreshing, to find people who are openly Jewish on here! I also really related to your pins about using Twitter. Anyway, happy New Year and may you meet your goals!
