Hey everyone, a brief moment of your time if I may
Given the fractured state of social media right now I'm trying to do my best to showcase the voices of queer gamedevs in this hostile world. When the hellsite started to go downhill the community scattered, and I'm doing my best to keep in contact with so many amazing queer gamedevs who fill the world with their stories. The one place I've been able to keep copies of the livestreams since twitch is no real ally, has been the video archive over on youtube (which in itself is no friend to queers) so any subscribes on the Digital Diversity YT channel would really help make sure these voices get heard, and I can share these stories to the best of my ability. Just pressing that button helps more than you would believe.
I've been running the Digital Diversity project for a few years now, it has truly been the one passion of mine that never wanes, no matter how rough things have gotten.
But the media landscape is a rough one for queer voices, only getting harder as the industry eats itself in what feels like a race to the bottom (and not in the fun way), and it feels like I'm pushing harder than ever to get those voices heard.
