every single post i see on twitter even alluding to the sweet baby stuff getting completely swarmed by angry gamers eager to do GamerGate 2, many of whom get their replies pushed to the top because they pay for blue checks, sure is making twitter feel even more miserable than usual right now. it really is 2014 all over again. reminding of when i'd have to go mass block every single person who follows the quartering or whoever to make the site anywhere near usable

Nearly 10 million cats are kept in Japan, and many of them die of kidney disease. Since discovering 20 years ago the "AIM" protein which is found in the blood, Professor Miyazaki has been devoted to the research of this particular protein. Over the course of his research, it became apparent that AIM improves kidney function. He is now working on developing medication that may substantially extend the lifespan of cats.

I've never watched Dragon Ball, but seeing its ripples through modern culture, it really is apparent how core it was to so many different works. It's like Lord of the Rings, where its conventions defined every fantasy novel for the next seventy years -- there are millions of characters in existence who are, at least in part, in conversation with Goku. There are giants, and there are titans; Akira Toriyama was a titan.
