yes! it's been ages tbh, i watched it as a teenager. great music, good voice acting, fun characters... but more than anything, i think FLCL was the first anime i saw that was just so fluidly animated?
at the time, a lot of anime like DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho relied really heavily on long, slow pans over low/no-animation frames. seeing something with the kinect energy of FLCL was astounding to my 13 yo brain
