  • show gratitude, be thankful for the things you do have. this will put your problems into perspective
  • voice your problems, it doesn't have to be out loud but putting your struggles into words guides your ability to process them
  • meditate and clear your mind. your subconscious takes time to work on problems, wait for answers to come to you. don't force it, let thoughts come and go like watching the tides.

you can do this for hours or minutes. it helps. and the best part? knowing that the feeling of calm, warmth, and safety that rushes over you isn't coming from some all knowing judge of character. its coming from you. that's you loving yourself. it was always you.
