Tron Legacy is so fucking cool and the very idea that they're gonna try and put Jared Leto in one of these and not have Daft Punk (or equivalent? I checked out once I saw Jared Leto casting) is just proof that the suits have no idea why that movie is such a cult hit.

what exactly are we mad at jared leto for? is it still suicide squad joker cuz like... the stuff he's been in that i like actually outweighs a lot of stuff he's done thats kinda mid and afaik he's a pretty good guy?

I believe he is some sort of sex pest / culty type person with young fans? I remember there was some sort of weird thing about him being on an island retreat right at the start of COVID that had extremely weird vibes.. lemme search.

EDIT: ok the cult stuff might be mostly overblown publicity but he still gives weird (potentially underage pest) vibes and I've never enjoyed a performance of his acting.

Main thing I’ve heard is that he’s a method actor, and this can lead to him being an asshole to his castmates or creating problems for the crew

i haven't heard anything about cult stuff but there have definitely been allegations of sex pest stuff that seemed accurate to me. i always got that kind of vibe which makes me avoid people even without allegations.
