I keep remaking my WotR characters lol
This was spurred partly by me starting the Lann romance and having a powerful urge to dunk him into the moon. He's such a wiener, and generally really frustrating to have around due to the combination of him being lawful neutral and therefore aggressively stupid in a way that lacks any self-awareness, and his self-loathing just being draining and off putting due to me being an actual real world minority (of several kinds). Wenduag might be a hot mess who's problem solving tends to default to threats of murder or murder, she's at least has self-confidence. Lann's romance basically has you being his mom and no thank you. He's fine in small doses but I will not have him following me around all game.
I considered Soisel at one point but he is also a huge wiener, which is surprising in a series with Ulbrig, Ember, and Tristian as neutral good companions. I like that he's a soft, sensitive type, but his temper is so flaccid and flares up so easily. It's a weird situation where he is a good an interesting character but has some of the weakest banter with the party.
So, here's what I have running:
Angel - Aasimar oracle purifier, gonna help Daeran not be such a dick
Aeon - Picked the funky rock race with the same planned 15 Slayer Arcane Enforcer / 5 Hellknight build, will romance the queen, still Abadar
Azata - Switched to a halfling bard that will probably half with slayer deliverer or ranger demonslayer, should give me enough fun magic to play with alongside good melee options, will romance Ulbrig (I wonder if I can ride his griffon form), still Desna
Trickster remains unchanged, gnome druid feyspeaker, will probably straight shot, romance Wenduag
Demon/Gold Dragon - I decided to go with an elf, funny enough, and a magus sword saint that I will straight shot for the INSANE damage bonuses you get. The crit stuff is bonkers. Will date Arue. I think I picked Pharasma.
Lich/Legend - I decided to make a half-elf stigmatized witch and will get oracle later. While making this character, I came to the hilarious realization that the half-elf has a unique heritage that gives it +2 charisma off the bat. Since you are half human, you also get two points to add to whatever also for free. This means I could get +4 to charisma without putting a single point into it, so I had so many points left over that I managed to make an archer/mage build. This, to me, is very, very funny. I am also going to do the most cursed romance and date Her.
If you have played WotR, you know exactly who I am talking about. Picked Neyths, the magic and madness god, which feels appropriate.
