Started doing one of the WotR DLCs on Wednesday, Through the Ashes. It's neat but feels unpolished at times. Idea is you're a normie going through the campaign's starting demon invasion, trying to keep a group of survivors alive. Even character creator pushes this via giving you only 15 stat points instead of 25.
There's cool ideas here, like combat giving no experience, but instead earning it via exploration and skill checks, and giving ways to overcome challenging opponents. Still, it feels clunky at points, like the awkward dialog choices to work survivors into the gameplay.
Curious if the sequel story, Lord of Nothing, is more of this or expands into a proper adventure.
