Sorry if I've been a bit saucier than usual, I try to keep my posting fairly relaxed, but the triple whammy of white people tripping over rakes in the Orientalism discussion, having someone doing subtweets about me and having it slip into my timeline for sharing a completely benign opinion about liking old video game graphics a different way then they do, and now seeing meta bullshit slipping into my timeline that amounts to people shitting on four queer people running a site that has ballooned beyond their expectations for not running the site the way THEY want to just has me really, really sour right now.
Can we stop making asses of ourselves just for once? Can we stop repeating all the same bullshit we did when we were on the big social media sites? Can we actually learn from our past actions?
You can't blame this shit on hostile architecture anymore. This is all us now, and I am appalled by how bad some of us are failing to have any introspection or humility. And I know the lot of y'all are way too old to be acting like this if you're on this website.
