I just KNOW Discord is going to be unusable in like 1 year minimum. Whenever a web site starts adding trillions of incomprehensible and unusable services you know it's spinning its wheels because its growth is plateauing and it's desperate to keep the momentum. It'll be sold for its theoretical highest value right at the moment it's about to lose all of it. Like there's no way that's not going to happen, right? Is there any reason I should believe any given useful service might be executed at any moment in order to somehow make a bunch of rich people richer, even though the actual service of value is now functionally gone?

I got A/B tested on it a few weeks ago and believe me it was MUCH WORSE. Every channel took so much space, the then new server list was unusable...
So what are we moving to? Like, we could move at any dang time, just saying. Or is this one of those twitter problems where the sunk cost fallacy outweighs the need to improve?
they should go all the way and implement a social media feed to compete with the website formerly known as twitter
