Much as I'd like to be smug about your compliment, the fact that you used the wrong "compliment," and the fact that you used the word "append," I am genuinely sorry that you feel this way. I envy you often for the way that people like you, as I seem to be... Well, as you said, rather boring. Most don't like an uptight know-it-all, and I certainly don't have the same flare for conversation and banter that you do. You are, as it were, the more relatable of the two of us.
It seems we both have a lot to figure out on this front.
