Remember when I said at one point you shouldn't worry if your art is "good or bad" just worry if you're making what you want?
Turns out that applies to software tools as well. I've spent so long wrapped up in "but what if this tool has issues? Should I put time into learning something that has clear flaws?"
Big issue: I've looked at sooooo many tools for making games at this point, over many many years and you know what? They all have clear flaws. If you don't believe me, just ask google. Somebody will happily tell you why the tool you are looking at is flawed. Probably in an angry manner to boot! Just to help you feel a little extra stupid.
tl;dr- I got RPG Maker and I just don't even care that it has drawbacks. I'm tired of letting my perfectionism stop me from even starting. Imma make some dumb yuri game and nobody can stop me. BWAHAHAHA!!!
