Uh. Hi. So I guess I'm going to use this cohost thing as a MAME WIP blog. I'm not a coder, though.
Preservation group Forest of Illusion dumped a set of N64 roms used in the LodgeNet 64 hotel system as their final release before shutting down. I figured I should try to add them to MAME so they're not lost.
I have no idea how the system actually worked, but the games seem to work just fine on emulators, so I should be able to add these without much trouble. These don't support saving, rumble, or a second pad.
Unfortunately my potato of a computer can't run the N64 very well so I'm not going to be able to test these much. But at least they'll be preserved and playable by someone.
(Side note, these will have to be added as "Decrypted" since the original game files used encryption, and I'm not sure if the lack of actual software to run the server system will be an issue. I'll also probably add them as a separate software list set.)
