Semi-joking Shadowrun idea.
Shadowrunning is already gig work. But what if we made it Uber. Some new company comes in, scoops up all the jobs at lower rates from clients so fixers get choked out, and then pays the runners less and less for the same work while taking huge losses on operating expenses, waiting for a mega to buy them out.

the Mr Johnson has been replaced with an app so now they cant say anything foreboding to foreshadow the job going south, lets you catch the players by surprise
I played it a bit during the playtest. It's got some good ideas, I just don't like the setting.
An escalating war between independent johnsons hiring runners to take down the app and its leadership, and RUNR hiring runners to protect itself.
And maybe some UCAS regulator hiring runners to just poke around the labour practices of RUNR or something.
