Shadowrun session summary: The Crew Decides to Kick a Gang While They're Down; Destroys Local Chapter.
Chummer really is a wonderful tool. It let me build 3 lieutenants and a chapter leader in a fairly short amount of time. What is REALLY nice though, is that I built a template to use for the Lts, so I could still get the like "This is a legal build" messages, and could keep them all around the same power. Then, I used a different template for the leader, to show his power over the others. Chummer makes it easy to tweak existing rulesets to make more/less powerful characters in the builder, it's nice.
The crew decided to kick the Asphalt Devils out of Redmond, since they had a small bit of turf. The people that hired them were the Troggs, a gang of Orks and Trolls, who under normal circumstances would have done the attack themselves, but the turf next to the AD's base was held by a pair of gangs that hate the Troggs. While the Troggs don't mind a good scrap, they didn't like their odds provoking the other two groups with just their presence.
The crew fucked with the Asphalt Devils in their first trial mission, when they broke up a potential weapons sale to them, from an Ares employee who went rogue. The Ares employee got made dead by mistake in the first mission (Look, how was the Ball Lightning supposed to know that there was a guy there??), but they stopped the weapons sales, and took out a decent amount of the Devil's gang.
So they took a job that paid very little, but gave them extra Karma, but most importantly, it was funny.
