Was able to mad scramble and format the not-working drive last night, and in doing so, it seems to have fixed it. A partition tool had just said it was a Bad Disk, so i figured that it was data corruption more than physical damage, and so far, it seems like that's right. Been working alright for about a half hour now, longer than it was before.
Now to reinstall Itch, Steam, and Epic.
