Starting to write up the sitrep for my site from last mission and can't decide the tone to use. The straight informative, a more fiction forward version, like it's a book, or a version where I format it like how a computer would report it.
I also need to start making maps and figure out what format the next encounters will take.
OK, written and formatting done. That's step 1 down.
Other things I learned from that first mission.
- Enemies are here for a good time, not a long time, I don't have to go 0 optional systems every time.
- The Assault RIPS.
- Hitting twice with a -2 Difficulty shotgun is Hilarious.
- I learned that you can't deal damage with Ram without the Juggernaut talent or Siege Ram. I learned this after the session when I allowed a player to inflict ramming damage on an enemy.
- I can try to use templates more, might especially use Pirate/Mercenary ones in an upcoming mission.
- Downtime wasn't as painful as I thought it would be! Someone got some drinks, another started a church, and the other wants to start a project to make their Comp/Con unit a bit more responsive.
- Everyone rolled below a 6 on their Downtime action/rolls. The priest didn't have to roll for Get Organized since the roll comes on later downtimes.
- Introduced their shitty new rivals-slash-housemates, as their barracks is basically a flat with a room for each squad.
- They landed on Lycoris for their team name, which works.
