Hey, anyone who's picked up one of the huge Itch bundles in the past. Heads up:
Kenny's Game Assets 1 makes REALLY HELPFUL tokens for maps. I don't care that styles are clashing, I get to just have clear indicators of important objects on my map now. It was involved in the Bundle for Racial Justice and I believe they made their assets free for a day a few weeks back when Unity was doing a Dumb.
Going to add cover and other things (shade specifically for the next encounter) with it.
what did you use to put together the map? or is that just a background image?
SCMDraft, a Starcraft 1 third party map editor. I can export the map as a bmp, just change the extension to png (though I think foundry can take bmp natively so I'm just making things harder on myself), and toss it into foundry.
I am currently very much in the "Using non-ttrpg stuff to make my TTRPG prep" with those two and PureRef as a GM Screen.
