It's the frame of choice for John Lancer.
but yeah, telling your players that, get ready for your next encounter to get stat-checked by hyperspec'd Everests.
I've heard there are apparently some truly scary sniper builds that can be made with Everest.
But overall the GMS frames really shouldn't be underestimated; even Sagarmatha as a Defender with "only" 8hp/1 armor can be extremely sturdy and versatile thanks not only to those main/flex/heavy mount config but also that free brace every battles combined with Replaceable Parts giving it a real mission-long form of attrition endurance thanks for the ability to repair structure damage after battles as if it were nothing.

They've done some overcharge stuff, mainly for double boosting. Not much though
I just didn't realize it also applied to the Everest's stuff
ah, yeah. that's the big reason it stays competitive for endgame builds
