Tabletop, video games, sports and maybe someday some other things if I get the ambition to learn.

I found my old MP3 player, that I've had since like, 2004, and it has like, 256 MB of space, could hold 70 whole songs. The PC we had had like, 30 GB of hard drive space, an unfathomable amount at the time.

Now I'm regularly installing a game that's more than the entire storage space of that old computer. People download entire albums that are larger than the entire storage space of that MP3 player.

For years, a Terabyte just seemed like this massive amount of space. That's a thousand Gigabytes! But now I see people talking about 3 or 10 or 16 TB hard drives and I just don't even know what I'd even do with that amount of space.

With 1 terabyte you’re just downloading the same file multiple times without keeping track of what folder previous downloads went to. Not a care in the world! Now with my phone, that’s a different story.

I'm sitting on a collective 5tb of storage and I'm already considering upgrading that. Most of it is totally legitimately legally obtained media, a decade+ of digital art stuff, reference images, hoards of ttrpg assets (maps, tokens, etc), and video games I'm convinced that I'll play eventually.
