I played a ton of Yogbox and Yogbox-adjacent packs (Yogbox, Tekkit, Technic, Hexxit, etc). The mix of technical, magical and exploration mods in them just fit more with my play style.
Plus stuff like Millinere and the many versions of Thaumcraft were just fun to mess around with.
I played so much Hexxit ages ago, and Thaumcraft is just a ton of fun and a lot of stuff to mess with. It's real cool.
Geophilic! It adds so much to world exploration just with vanilla blocks or the world layout... Boulders, fallen trees and stumps, more trees. It's gotta be my favorite vanilla+ biome enhancer.
