Tabletop, video games, sports and maybe someday some other things if I get the ambition to learn.
Learn it in bits and chunks. Talk to other people about it. Don't be afraid to fuck it up. There's a reason why everyone on an AP pushes for patience when they're using a new system. Think about what you do like. Think about what you don't like.
And never plan on a campaign before it happens.

it's like, you don't even know if you have the chemistry at that point, or if you like the game!
Honestly I usually get a 3am call from my GM in which he invokes a Blood Pact and I'm obligated to at least one session. I'm not sure what our Blood Pact has in its specific details but I assume at least (1) damnation.
