Still an underrated feature of Cohost: putting someone's @ in a post or comment doesn't send them a notification. Sure it sucks for bringing things to their attention, but it also cuts down on pointless notifications and potential harassment vector.
It's made me way more at ease mentioning someone's account by handle since people could just click through if they wanted too
